Nicklin in the community

Alongside our regular work as accountants, business and tax advisors, we are committed to making a positive impact to support the communities in which we work and live.

Our aim is to give something back and to help some of the most vulnerable people and groups in our society.

Over the years, we have supported a number of charities and local worthy causes and have organised a wide range of fundraising
events to support them.

Our team successfully climbed Mount Snowdon, raising funds and awareness for Bowel Cancer UK.

Our motivation for this adventure was our amazing Receptionist, Carol, who has bravely battled bowel cancer and is now thankfully in full recovery.

Our ongoing commitment to local businesses in our community is further demonstrated by the recognition we have received through various awards. These include being named winner of the Legal and Business Advisory Category at the Birmingham Post Business Awards. Partner Mark Howell said, “This success would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the team at Nicklin, who have ensured that, as a firm, we really do have something to shout about.”

We have also enjoyed success after being named ‘Accountancy Firm of the Year (more than five partners)’ in the ICAEW West Midlands Chartered Accountant of the Year Awards in May – our fifth time of winning the accolade.

Through successes like these, and supported by our ongoing commitment to staff training and development, local businesses can benefit from our professional expertise.
