Current Vacancies

We are looking for a Payroll Assistant with at least 1 year’s experience to join our friendly team based in Halesowen, you will be working within a payroll bureau/ accountancy practice. Previous experience using Sage 50 payroll is desirable but not essential.

Principal Duties:

  • Directed by a Manager processing information and calculating wage records
  • Generation of payslips, etc
  • Compliance with client’s wishes with regard to payment of wages
  • Running of end to end weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, monthly and annual payrolls
  • Managing all aspects of payroll and pension processing
  • Setting up new PAYE and pension schemes
  • Uploading of pension contributions to a variety of pension providers
  • Salary payment processing
  • Auto enrolment duties and RTI
  • Processing of CIS returns
  • Year-end payroll procedures and P60 reporting

Secondary Duties:

  • General assistant to Wages Manager

General Duties:

  • Follow all administrative procedures
  • General assistance to other members of staff when required
  • Attending training courses as appropriate
  • Carry out reasonable duties as and when required by the firm

  • 20 hours per week, over 4 days
