Government launches new Business Support hub

The Government has today launched a new nationwide business campaign designed to support enterprise owners through the Brexit transitional phase and beyond.

As part of the campaign, a new Business Support site has been launched to “make it easier for businesses in England to find out about the full range of support available to them”.

The new hub is divided into four areas: finance and business planning, leadership and talent, innovation and technology, and exporting. Within each area, businesses will find advice on funding, support to help your business grow, how to deal with late payments, equity and finance advice, mentoring schemes, intellectual property advice, support trading overseas and online, and more.

Promoting the new campaign and website, Business Secretary Alok Sharma said: “We want to make the UK the best place in the world to start and grow a business. As part of delivering this ambition we are putting all of Government’s business support together in one place to ensure more businesses can unleash their potential.”

International Trade Secretary Liz Truss added: “We want British exporters to make the most of our status as an independent trading nation, now that we have left the EU. This Government will provide the tools and support to ensure these businesses are ready to trade.”

To get started, businesses should click on this link to navigate to the new Business Support hub. From here, enterprise owners can find out more about grant funding, events and workshops and Government initiatives which could benefit your business.
