Trainees at Halesowen-based accountancy firm Nicklin LLP are a step closer to qualifying as Accountants after passing their latest round of exams. The practice currently has six trainees, all of which have celebrated recent exam success.
Danielle Heron-Brooks, who has been at the firm since May 2017, has recently passed two of the ACA professional qualifications, achieving an outstanding 96% in Tax Compliance and 91% in Audit and Assurance. Danielle works within the Audit and Accounts Department with much of her recent experience gained within HSP Nicklin, which specialises in accountancy services to medical professionals and practices.
Danielle said: “I was really happy when I received my exam results. My aim had been obviously to pass, but achieving 96% makes all of the hard work really worthwhile.”
She added: “I’ve been at Nicklin LLP for just over 12 months and really enjoy my work and the colleagues I work with. I’d like to thank everyone here for their support”.
Sian Robinson, who has been with Nicklins since September 2015, has passed the Assurance and Law elements of the ACA Finance and Business certificate. Sian works within Nicklin’s audit team.
Sian said: “I am really pleased with my exam results, as it was my final certificate level exam which means I can now go on to study for the professional level exams”
She added: “Nicklins are really supportive; they are always there to offer help and guidance when I need it. Working at Nicklins, whilst studying, enables me to put theory into practice and consolidate my college learning”.
James Terry joined the firm in November 2017 and has spent much of his time working with Nicklins Tax team. He recently passed his ATT Business Tax and Accountancy Principles exams.
James said: “I am really happy with my exam results; I’ve worked really hard over the last twelve months and am extremely grateful for the support I have received at Nicklins. I believe that this study pathway coupled with the continued support from Nicklins gives me the best possible chance of success in the future”.
Emily Warren, who joined the firm in June 2017, recently passed her AAT Management Accounting and Indirect Tax exams. Emily works in Nicklins audit team.
Emily said: “I am really happy to have passed all of my exams so far and I am so excited to commence studying my level 4 Accountancy qualification. Nicklins have supported me throughout my first year and I look forward to becoming fully qualified with them in the future”
Peter Cook recently passed his ACCA exams in Financial Reporting and Taxation. Peter works within Nicklins accounts and audit team.
Peter said: “I’m really pleased that I have passed my recent exams and am currently revising for my next exam in September. Whilst sometimes the study can be challenging, it is definitely worth all of the hard work”.
Michael Edwards recently passed his AAT Management Accounting and Indirect Tax exams and is working within the Audit and accounts department at the firm. He joined Nicklins in July 2016.
Michael said: “I’m really pleased with my exam results. I’ve worked really hard over the past two years and pleased that this is reflected in my recent exam success. I’m extremely grateful to Nicklins for giving me this opportunity and with the continuous study at college and support from Nicklins; I have a great chance of success in the future”
