A Halesowen Accountants and Business Advisers hosted a charity Cup Cake Day, in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society at their offices in Halesowen, week commencing Monday 11th June.
Nicklin LLP invited employees and clients to their event, for a tasty treat, whilst at the same time, raising awareness and funds for those affected by Dementia.
The firm were visited by James Morris, MP, who is a tireless campaigner for supporting those with mental health in the community, concluding the event on Friday 15th June with a cupcake and a chat about the week’s achievements.
Rebecca Bond, Operation Manger, said “the week went extremely well. Our staff, have excelled themselves with their baking efforts and were extremely generous with their donations”.
“Someone develops dementia every three minutes in the UK and yet very few people plan for it. We hope by hosting this event, we will help the charity to raise awareness and provide funds to support their fight to find a cure”.
