Halesowen-based chartered accountancy firm Nicklin LLP is celebrating after scooping yet another accolade, this time at the Birmingham Post Business Awards.
The firm was named as the winner of the Legal and Business Advisory category at a ceremony which took place at Edgbaston Stadium on 17 October.
Partner Mark Howell, who accepted the award on the night, said: “To be shortlisted for such a prestigious award was wonderful, but to win is just fantastic news.
“Of course, this success would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the team at Nicklin, who have ensured that, as a firm, we really do have something to shout about.”
Nicklin has enjoyed a particularly successful 18 months, having being named ‘Accountancy Firm of the Year (more than five partners)’ in the ICAEW West Midlands Chartered Accountant of the Year Awards in May – the fifth time it has won the accolade. It has also been shortlisted for this year’s British Accountancy Awards, under the Mid-Tier Firm category, and will learn if it has been successful in November.
The firm also completed successful mergers with Worcester-based Crowther Beard in March and Rubery-based Lowe McTernan in June 2012.
