Halesowen-based chartered accountants Nicklin LLP is celebrating after being made a finalist in the West Midland Chartered Accountant of the Year Awards.
Organised by ICAEW, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, these awards celebrate success and achievement across the accounting profession. Nicklin LLP has been shortlisted in the ‘small firm’ category which considers how firms have made a significant contribution to the economic prosperity of the West Midlands.
Harvey Owen, Nicklin LLP’s managing partner, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for these prestigious awards. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the dedication of everyone at Nicklin, so this shortlisting is a testament to their hard work and everything they have done to ensure the firm makes a positive contribution to the West Midlands.”
As a firm, Nicklin LLP is heavily involved in a number of charitable organisations. The firm regularly participates in fund-raising events including Race for Life. However, having organised and supported various activities over the years, the partners formed a Charitable Trust to not only centralise all of their work, but also serve as a vehicle to involve staff, clients and friends of the firm, with the aim of raising even more money for local good causes.
Nicklin LLP will learn if it has been successful at an awards lunch which takes place at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground on 18 May.
