Halesowen-based chartered accountancy firm Nicklin LLP is celebrating after being shortlisted for a prestigious national award.
The firm has been named as a finalist of the Mid-Tier Firm of the Year category at this year’s British Accountancy Awards, organised by leading industry publication Accountancy Age.
The awards recognise the cream of Britain’s accountancy profession, with judges paying close attention to details such as successes, customer service and innovation.
Nicklin will learn if it has won at a ceremony taking place at The Pavilion at the Tower of London on 20 November.
Managing partner Harvey Owen said: “We are delighted to have reached the finals of the British Accountancy Awards. Being shortlisted alongside many larger firms from across Britain demonstrates that Nicklin is very much able to hold its own on a national level.
“However, credit for this success must go to everyone at Nicklin. Without their hard work and dedication, we would not be where we are today.”
Nicklin has enjoyed a particularly successful 18 months, having being named ‘Accountancy Firm of the Year (more than five partners)’ in the ICAEW West Midlands Chartered Accountant of the Year Awards in May – the fifth time it has won the accolade. The firm also completed successful mergers with Worcester-based Crowther Beard in March and Rubery-based Lowe McTernan in June 2012.
